What settings do you use for "profile refresh" and do you look over the profile updates?

What settings do you use for "profile refresh" and do you look over the profile updates? Or do you not update your profiles? And why are the profiles updated so often, it seems like I get the "profile refresh needed" pop up at least once a week. Input on this subject would be appreciated. thanks

I don't think I've ever done a wholesale refresh (though Profiler bugs me to do it every day I fire it up).  I do a few refreshes manually every time and again, or when I'm going to work on a profile, and often find changes I don't like/agree with.  Some profile update available notices seem to be caused by the audio flagged as different, even if you accept the mysterious, invisible differences.

What do you mean by "settings"? I click "Refresh Updated Profiles" button --> preview changes --> lock some fields if necessary and hit OK button.

Funnily I don't get it at all anymore.
Not sure why.

I don't refresh my profiles from the online at all. Simply because it contains too much data I don't need (BY for an actor just because a supporting ( ) "actor" in some obscure porn shares the same name, Company Dividers, etc...).
On pending updates I mostly vote "Neutral". If an error gets corrected in one of my profiles I correct it instantly from the data of the pending update.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

After I add a new profile I lock all the fields I care for and leave open what I don't care for. That way I can simply accept any profile update without even looking at it.

Pretty much the same for me; also I'll note any profile update I Vote "No" on and there are quite a few "Yes"es so if it gets through I can do a partial accept.
