| Posted: | | | | Just to start, sorry if this is in the wrong section. Had the software a while but only recently got round to adding all my films to it.
I just bought the latest Harry potter film, Deathly Hallows from HMV as they were doing a three disc exclusive (Barcode 5051892047333), the box states three disc where the others state two disc and the contents box on the back cover shows the details for all three discs.

Are these versions of the films ever listed, as its currently not ?
If I could get hold of a scanner I would contribute but I do not know of anyone with one.
The other DVD’s I bought were a box set of the Rocky films. All films 1-6 titled “The Complete Saga” (6 discs, Barcode 5039036039956) these to are not listed. I believe it was released in 2007

Without a scanner, how do I go about contributing to these ?
Thx in advance. |

| Posted: | | | | This is a user built database. The only way for items to get added, is if someone adds them. So, to answer your question, yes, these films do get listed...once someone gets around to adding them.
You don't need a scanner to add the profiles for these, they just won't have cover scans. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Exactly what Martian said... just remember to read the Contribution Rules before submitting so as to save yourself any grief... if you don't understand a Rule (or think following it properly is too much work) either ask on here for help or just skip that bit of the contribution... partial contributions are fine so long as the data is accurate and by the Rules! BTW, there's at least one more exclusive out there which will be in the same boat as I noticed yesterday Sainsburys have a just-for-them Dobby cover release. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | OK, I have had a go at adding the Rocky box set.
The "Complete Saga" is actually the "Ulitmate Edition" plus the last film. If I insert the discs they are all recognised as such.
So... I created a new box set with the UPC and added the existing discs as they are recognised by inserting each disc, then I :-
Added each disc to the new box set Added the box set overview Changed the Box type Changed total running time Changed the scans to be the front of the "Complete Saga" case, not got scans for the back yet. Amended the individual discs to conform to the new box set.
I used the existing discs in the database as they already had the details approved, hope this is correct.
How do I submit the box set ? It keeps saying its an invalid UPC code ?
Thx |
