| Posted: | | | | Hi to all
Can somebody tell me why a film that shows a bit of nudity but is FSK-16 must be marked as ADULT. They did not accept it, only if marked ADULT it was accepted. I mean, ADULT is for sure FSK-18+ and ADULT, but an FSK-16 film cannot be ADULT, am I wrong?

| Posted: | | | | Quote: Use the “Adult” rating for all Adult films. Sorry, but a "bit of nudity" is not an adult film. Especially not, if the FSK gave it a 16 rating (unless it's soft porn). | | | Deutsches DVD Profiler Forum: www.dvdprofiler-forum.de |

| Posted: | | | | Is there any nudity on the cover art? If so... Ken has already stated that any nudity on the cover art (Front or back cover) must be set to adult. | | | Pete |

Adult seems to be here other than in normal use where ADULT means sex films and over 18. Here it seems just depending on the cover, I see, thanks :-) Fritz | | | * 3D TV Panasonic TX-P65VT30J + Blu-ray Player Panasonic DMP-BDT500 My Filmcollection online: www.filmkino.ch * |

| Posted: | | | | That is just part of it. Adult can mean anything from a little nudity on the cover to sexually explicit material. so it is not just the cover.
Even stuff like Playboy Videos and Girls Gone Wild would be considered adult... even if there is no nudity on the cover.
Ken (the developer/owner of the site) explained this the last time this was brought up (not that I expect new people to know this of course). | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | You can also mark it with Genre Adult instead. Which is imho the better way, because the correct rating remains. |

Fully agree; IMO Adult genre should be for films that have the 'purpose' of pure titlation/arousal whether that be 'softcore' or 'hardcore', Adult rating should be for films of XXX material and not used if there's a 'normal' proper rating (well except R18 in the UK which is a rating specifcally for hardcore pornography... well as hardcore as the BBFC lets the UK get away with which is at least better than the situation not many years ago!) Of course this is further complicated by the online display of your collection not showing the 'highest regular rated' titles as well as specifically/proper 'Adult' titles if you set it not to show Adult, but let's take this one thing at a time | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong | | | Last edited: by Voltaire53 |
