I am trying to do a query and see how much my wishlist would cost in total based on SRP (want to see how much I would need to spend). Not sure if there is a seperate plug-in I would need but seeing as how this is a database itself I assumed there would be some function for this already.

When I go to Database Query I see just '-----' for SRP no matter whether its Owned Ordered or Wishlist. I Did change the options to set for wishlist rather then owned or ordered. If there is something anyone knows or can think of I would be very intereted. Thanks!

I have a similar problem in that the Database Query shows $ where it should be Euros. Must have something to do with local settings in Windows.

However, I think you should post this problem in the Plugins forum, where it has a a better chance of being noticed by the author.

There is a Report called the DVD Discount Report by Doug M which has a column for the SRP and shows a total at the bottom, which you can run on your Wishlist, just ignoring the Price Paid column in this instance.

As a useful aside this also shows clearly where Price Paid is somehow set to millions of dollars by some program quirk so you can find it easily and fix it when required.

Thanks Voltaire... I didn't even think to check reports. Appreciate it!

Hi Voltaire.
If I remember correctly, the problem I had with this report is that it provided a grand total for all SRPs regardless of currency and not broken up into individual currencies. If every profile in your profile database is in a single currency, then no problem. If multiple currences I think you need to convert all your SRPs to a single currency via the
Menus-----> Collection-------> Flagged -----> Adjust Prices...
Then set your base prices within that menu. You need to research what your estimated foreign exchange rates are going to be before you start. (Tip. Back up first and test a couple out so that you get the general idea if it will be correct or not. Once you have converted everything, it's a bit messy to fix up any DVDs you may want to excliude. Personally, I use the Database Query Plug-in and run it separately for each currency - no conversions are required
Veni, Vidi, Visa, Vista, Voodoo, Vino
I came, I saw, I bought, I installed Vista, I'm now haunted, I need wine

Apologies to Julius Caesar in 47 BC who said  "Veni, Vidi, Vici" - "I came, I saw, I conquered."

You are quite right; since the vast majority of mine are in one cuurency I hadn't thought of that... thanks for pointing that out and for the tip
