When I upgraded to 3.6 the program constantly asked me to make backups when I closed it . Luckily this was disable-able via options.

When I started the program just now it reminded me that I haven't done a "Refresh Profiles from Invelos" in more than 7(?) days. I haven't found an option to turn that off yet.

Are there more sudden reminders to expect in the new version?

This maybe a nice features for newbies and less experienced users but I think I know what I'm doing and would like to have the option to disable all such "reminders".

There sure is. It also reads your forum posts and if you've agreed with people for more than 7 days it asks if you would like to disagree now!

Seriously though I agree with you. Hopefully this can be added in in the next update.

You can turn it off by going to Tools > Options > System.  It is listed under Periodic Prompts and you can turn it off or set the time period.

Yeah the one for backing up is there but there's nothing for looking for updated profiles.

Personally I don't mind that one but I do wish it would realise when I've backed up on another PC and restored the backup on my present one!
