Hello there,

when printing a report (tried different ones) to the Adobe Distiller printer driver, the images are missing in
the printout, although they are present in the preview. Does anybody know how to print the images?

Best,
Rainer

Seems like a question that needs to be asked at the Adobe support.

First suspect would be insufficient RAM (less than 1024 MB) though.

You might want to check the online help though (German)
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

It is likely to be lack of memory BUT I think this may be more the fault of the way DVDP prepares its reports than a lacking in any other area. I've had this problem (especially with hi-res scans) on lots of reports (some are for whatever reason better than others!) even with the most powerful machines and huge printservers.

The only advice i can give is to print out only 2-3 pages at a time (ie set the report only to produce 2-3 pages) as i find that often helps. If it works you can try increasing the number until things start to get flakey again.
