| Posted: | | | | When I add a movie to my "owned" list it used to go to the top of the list and when I was ready I would Reassign Collection numbers into alphabetical order. Now when I add a movie it goes right into alphabetical order. Is there a way to keep them at the top of my list until I choose to Reassign the Collection Numbers? |

Another way would be to make the purchase date column vissible and sort on this one, not 100% shure about this one. | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Actually when I move a film (profile) to the owned it automatically assigns the next collection number in ascending order - so I would guess that your first suggestion would put it at the bottom if they have a number at all. So if the OP wants to ensure there is no number then he needs to tick the NONE box for collection number whilst moving to owned | | | Paul |

It goes into alphabetical order because of the sort title. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

It goes into alphabetical order because of the sort title. |

Not if you generally sort by reverse collection number, then the highest is at the top. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

It goes into alphabetical order because of the sort title. That's odd, cuz mine always go to the bottom . | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

Not if you generally sort by reverse collection number, then the highest is at the top. the OP said that he re-created the collection numbers so that these were in ascending order of title. Unless he had the titles in descending order then this would leave the existing highest collection number at the bottom of the list. If you then add a new title and this gets a collection number assigned then this would be the next largest number (and if the list is sorted by collection number would put this at the bottom) Note - I was only refering to the OP situation. Obviously if you sort by collection number in reverse order then the highest would be at the top. | | | Paul |
