Just a heads up for anybody who has an order with Sendit at the moment.

They've recently updated their website and it's caused a few problems. One of them is problems processing card payments (not sure if this is all payments or if you have stuff on backorder only as I have), basically they aren't going through.

You also have to log in every time you do an action in your account and the order history is blank, as are many status pages within the orders.

They guy I spoke to said it should be resolves within 72 hours.

When i logged in the last week all my details were gone.
some info here looks like they have been taken over by The Hut.

Strange, I have an order from last week (backordered) with them right now and the payment went through for authorization on my card earlier today.

I just checked my Sendit account and my order is still showing up under "My Shop"

now if we could have 'theHut' prices with sendit.com's stock levels..

- Yes - thehut stock seems slow.. but I just purchased 'Dark City Blu ray' for £11.37 from them - and if it only got sent last Saturday - so what. It seems from that thread that some 'on principle' don't want to use them.

So be it.. more for me..

Personally I've had no problems (touch wood) with the ordering process and the vast majority of my account but know of quite a few who've been having quite serious problems (losing their default details, losing their purchase history, losing their credits/back orders, failing to send items, even losing their whole account) since they changed over about 28th July and they've been saying they'll have it all working soon ever since, so don't rely on "fixed in 72 hours" IMO!

I tend to use sendit rarely now days, so after seeing above I logged on to check, all details have vanished including 8 years of order history etc, oh well

My backorder shipped today from Sendit, and showed up in my Order History as thus... so everything seems cool here.

They do seem to be making some progress.

At least now when I click on view it actually brings up the details, rather than a blank page.

Still no order history for previous orders and the live order is still showing as payment problem, will see what it looks like tomorrow before calling again.

Edit

Grr scratch that just checked and have an email telling me they've fixed the website problems but have cancelled my order to protect my details. They did give me a 10% discount code and hoped I'd enjoy shopping with them again.

Never mind the fact the titles I had on order were £11 each when I originally ordered them and are now £17 and £27.

Just waiting to see if they actually call me back now.

Quick update, having not heard anything called them up to be told that it was probably passed to IT and IT are behind. They can't give me any timescales when they'll be able to resolve my problem.

So if you do order it seems you be lucky you may not be, caveat emptor seems very much to apply at the moment.

I've just done a search with both sites & they returned identical results in terms of number of results & order. The prices were different though. It wasn't one was cheaper than the other but a complete mix.
