| | Posted: | | | | I originally entered 14 titles to test out the program before I purchased it. After buying it I put in my collection of 200 and called it a day. However, it is now a week later and I opened up the program to put in some new movies and my entry of 200 is gone, the original 14 is still there. I went to the documents folder and all of the 200 images are still there, but not included in the database. I did try reloading the database but it doesn't change it. I'm not sure where to go from here since I didn't back up the database and since the database really isn't gone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

| | Posted: | | | | Double check to make sure you added them to your Owned list and not the Ordered or Wishlist tabs? That would be my first guess. If they are on a different tab, you can move them, all at once if you flag them first.
If they do not show up on any list, try the database repair: Tools/Options then the Utilities tab.

| | Posted: | | | | Kevin- thanks for the suggestions. They weren't on the ordered or wish list, it's only 14 in owned. I ran the database repair and it didn't change anything. Outside of being a moron and not backing up the database I am running vista if that might be the problem. |

| | Posted: | | | | Check if you accidentally opened a new database. You can do so in DVDPro menu "File -> Open Database ...". In the window that pops up you can see all available databases. | | Posted: | | | | nope, just the default list. I think it was an unfortunate glich. So I will probably end up reentering, other than backing up your database is there another save button I should be hitting, or does the program log them on it's own? I haven't seen a save button. |

| | Posted: | | | | yep, saw them all in my layout and scrolled through them. I even moved to a few diffrent layouts to see the differences since I had just purchased the program. They were definitely there. |

There is no "save button". All changes to the database are made directly. The only way to be quite safe from dataloss is to perform backups on a regular basis (once a week) and to upload your database via "Online -> DVDProfiler Online ...". EDIT: Even though the latter is not a real backup, because not all of your data is uploaded. | | Posted: | | | | Next time use only ten UPC items and download.., restart program and see if you now have 24.. If so do ten more then repeat.. If all is well then add the additional 180 after that..
