| Posted: | | | | I hate the numbering sequence I created on my want list. Is there a way to re-assign collection numbers to the manual entries done in the want list? Thanks. |

re reading your question.,, Did you want to renumber everything? if so only a manual 'personalize' will solve this. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

| Posted: | | | | I am referring to the 'Wish List' only section. Many times, I entered in just a title and the program assigned it a manual number like #245, # 246, etc. Over time, I bought many or sold a few and now I have gaps in the 'Wish List' collection list. Can all of them be renumbered by the program? Since it was a manual addition...I do not want to renumber 100's of title onlywish list ones. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! |

| Posted: | | | | As of now these Manual Profile numbers can not be changed by you.
It has been requested, but I don't know if it will be in a future version or not. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | Um, sorry if I'm being stupid but Wish List entries don't have a collection number, Collection number is only assigned when you move it to Owned. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | Believe it or not, all wish list titles are given a manual collection number. If you look closely, they are at the bottom of the general info section. I just wanted to get rid of all the old deleted numbers in the wish list. I probably should not care about it, I must have some form of OCD. |

| Posted: | | | | I understood he is talking about Manual Profiles..... Those are numbered, no matter which collection they are in. It is (unfortunately) not possible to edit those numbers. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

That doesn't seem to limit the comment to manual profiles only. I thought so too... But looking at his online collection's Wish List indicates otherwise ...makes me wonder why one would add Wish List items manually and not by UPC | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. ...makes me wonder why one would add Wish List items manually and not by UPC If you don't have the actual DVD, as is the case with one that is wished for" how are you sure of the UPC number? |

If it is titles that are available and are placed on the Wish List to remind yourslef to possibly purchase them later, you can find the UPCs at various online retailers. Paul, I understand, that of course unreleased items which you'd like to have in the future, IF they get released, need to be added manually (why didn't I think of that earlier... ; guess because I never done it that way...)... | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. That what I wanted to say as well.. I have titles in my wish list for three years, but if I go out and buy the newest DVD that isn't in my wish list,, and I put that title into Owned.., Guess what number it gets assigned?? ..,,,, that's right., the number after my last buy title.. . You know there is a little bit of work you may or may not want to do when transferring titles from the wish list to owned list., If you don't at the time of transfer want that number..,, change it then and there.. You can imagine the backlash if Invelos Didn't assign numbers automatically, and you had to manually type in your collection number.,, there would be a lot more legitimate complaints than this one.. yours... | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird.
