With great skill I managed a b-i-g crash on my PC last Saturday. As of today, I have much of it back, but not my list of passwords, activation codes, etc.

I've owned DVD Profiler for some time, and I have a backup (I do hope!) still working. What I can't do is access anything because I can't open the program.

How do I get my original or another activation code? I've looked until I'm blind!

Thanks.

If you log into this site using your correct (old) username and password you can just click on the Registration tab at the top of the page

Well......and then what? I don't know my key, so I can't fill in that number to get a new one. And clicking on "new registration," they ask me for another $29.95.

I realize I'm probably being thick here, but I don't understand -- sorry, try again?

If your key was purchased at intervocative, log in to www.intervocative.com to retreive your key.  Using that key, you can get a free update to a version 3 key here.

My teeth are beginning to clench. I have the same problem with most of the software on my computer. So far with every other lost password, I have been able to contact their support via e-mail and get my old activation/registration/whatever number by return post.

Why is that not possible here?

I've tried what you suggest, and it has not worked. At this stage I haven't a clue how to proceed, and having already paid $30.00 for this software, I would like to be able to use it!

What now?

What exactly happens when you look at the registration page at www.intervocative.com?
Just saying that things "don't work" doesn't really help us work out what's going wrong - give us details about what you're doing and what's happening.

I just did everything again and it worked, apparently. Before, I signed in, clicked "registration," and was shown my key. I copied-and-pasted it into the registration window in the program and was told it was invalid. Turned out I had used my middle initial along with my first name when I originally got everything working, and once I added that, all seems fine.

Sorry for the uproar here -- my nerves are a tad ragged, what with everything that follows a bad crash. Thanks very much for your help.

Because this Invelos, jean, and we do things the way ken wants to do them not some other piece of software or what you might be used. By making you key available through the wbsite, Ken does not have to deal with a flood of users requesting email because they didn't have the sense to log their key somewhere else. Ken's system is actually is far simpler than any other  profgram that requires you to send them emali and request the key.

Glad you got everything working. Having a computer go kablooey can be frustrating. If you need anything else, remember you can always PM Ken or I. I think Ken lives in front of his computer
