Or maybe I am the only one with the error?
But when adding a new (either by name or UPC) DVD I can no longer click on the calendar icon and have the 'release date' automatically filled in? | | | Growing older is mandatory...Growing up is optional... "Time spent with cats is never wasted." - Sigmund Freud |

| Posted: | | | | IIRC the release date never had the calendar function... Are you possibly referring to the Purchase Date? In that case, make sure that the "Prompt for Personalization" box is checked when the Add DVD window is open. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. | Posted: | | | | I agree with Achim. I don't recall the release date EVER having a calendar pull down. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges. DVD Profiler user since June 15, 2001 |

| Posted: | | | | in v2.x if you clicked on the calendar icon for that field, it would automatically fill in the Release Date of the DVD for you. Many times I'd be updating new disks into the db on a Thu or Fri that came out that Tue. Just clicking the calendar button would jump the date back to its official release date. I too have noticed that this feature is missing/broken in v3. I'd like it to come back... |

As pointed out by "alhull" it was not a drop down menu... but simply by clicking on the calendar icon the release date would fill in as the purchase date... I only update my collection once I have about 10 discs needing to be entered and that could be any where from two week to two months before I update and add to the collection and most of my purchases happen on the release date..... Please return this feature to working order... --David | | | Growing older is mandatory...Growing up is optional... "Time spent with cats is never wasted." - Sigmund Freud |

So it is the purchase date that is populated automatically with the release date... I have looked in 2.4 and finally found it (right hand side of the erase button). The weird thing is, the I just looked in 3.0.2 and the button appears to be there, it is just grayed out | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. I'm using 3.0.2 /1124 and this feature works fine for me... I was expecting it to fill in 'present date' but it filled in 'release date' and I had to fix it! | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |
