Oh Lordy... I'm sure I'll change my mind after posting but, right now, this is my choice for a Top 25 with, I dare say, a few oddities due to taste on the day

1. Blade Runner (1982)
2. Star Wars (1977)
3. Lethal Weapon (1987)
4. The Rock (1996)
5. The Lord of the Rings (2001-2003)
6. Casablanca (1942)
7. The Terminator (1984)
8. The Killer (1989)
9. Die Hard (1988)
10. The Great Escape (1963)
11. The Magnificent Seven (1960)
12. Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
13. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966)
14. The Sting (1973)
15. The Thing (1982)
16. A Knight's Tale (2001)
17. Speed (1994)
18. X-Men 2 (2003)
19. 300 (2007)
20. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)
21. Predator (1987)
22. Finding Nemo (2003)
23. Aliens (1986)
24. The Princess Bride (1987)
25. Jurassic Park (1993)

Hated having to leave out so many... and I have a feeling if I'm really honest with myself some of the "good' movies on my list would be supplanted by some 'guilty pleasures' but... you have to stop messing some time!

If LotR has to be split (which I don't think it should be) then RotK at 5, FotR at 9, TTT at 15 and move down as appropriate.
It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong

I would actually put this in my top 10 films of all time - but I couldn't be bothered to re-arrange the whole list.
I thought it was an absolutely perfect film!

Hm. This seems to be one of those films you either hate or love. I thought it was boring, (well made, and intriguing, I'll give it that) but most of my friends thought it was absolutely brilliant..

bs' list includes no silent films

Damn! How could I forget about my silent hero Buster - Battling Butler - Keaton!

And I truly love the insanity of modern times.

Is it already too late to make changes to the list of All Times?

What I also noticed, the first list contained only american films. Actually that does not correspond to my viewing habits at all.

Guess I'm the exception to the rule.  I thought it was good.  Really good even.  But not great.

Nope, not too late. I'll tally them sometime this weekend. I'll make a post when I'm starting the tallying, and hence won't accept changes.

Just a quick bump to remind everyone to post their list if they want to be in the drawing for a free DVD, or to make any changes to already submitted lists.

I'll be starting the tally this weekend, and once I do I won't accept any new changes. I'll make a post when I begin the tallying. I'm not sure yet if I'll do it on Saturday or Sunday, depends on what's going on at home and if my wife's got any plans I'm not aware of.

Thank you, Sir.

Mind you, Buster Keaton is the only actor with his very own Emoticon!

I'll make the changes sometime this weekend.

Tallying has begun. Any changes made to your list won't be noticed.

If you haven't yet participated, you can still do so until I post the results. Once I've tallied the current lists I'll come back to the thread one more time to check for new lists.

Pity! Finished my list late last night...

Anyway, please ignore the first list, it was a copy of the American Film Institute's
list of the 100 Greatest Movies.
