No issue with costume, a decent update I feel.

The girl does look too soft though. I'm with RobAGD on this, needs stronger features at least.
Natassia Malthe would've been a great choice IMO. She just has that exotic, not of this world look. Plus I've seen her in action films

or Rhona Mitra could easily handle it, if you've seen Doomsday you knwo I'm right!

Of course I thought the TV version of Blade looked way wrong too, until I watched the series and found the actor absolutely nailed the character, so it will really come down to seeing in action. A still shot can decieve on many levels.

But, I grew up with Linda and doubt I even care to try a new version. Some classics just shouldn't be touched. Dukes of Hazzard (even though they are pretty corny now, that show was the best thing possible for a pre-teen boy), A-Team and Wonder Woman are all sacred to me. After trying the Dukes movie I lost most hope for others, although A-Team is on library list due to freinds swearing it's good.

Well, 1 promo shot doesn't tell much if she's too soft or not. I want to see her in action.

The shot below does look less soft to me, either way, I'm game

I doubt it will survive the first season. I don't think this actress has what it takes to pull it off. Linda Carter looked and acted like the All-American hometown girl in Wonder Woman. This girl looks more like a lingerie model from Victoria Secrets.

@ bigdaddy

While the movie version of "The A-Team" had decent special effects, it just didn't have the feel of the original series that I loved so much. Not sure if the following is really a spoiler but just in case... Spoiler:  (Select to view)
In the original series they were all members of the same elite unit in Vietnam...not in the movie version though. In the original series, the A-Team never killed anyone. NOT in the movie version...I think the body count ended at 26.
I watched it once and shelved it.

This has fail written all over it. Some things don't translate as well on other mediums.

But for an easy buck they just can't help bastardizing things.

But let's face it, that was not for lack of trying on either side. The original A-Team series was more along the lines of

What 'other medium'?  It was a TV series, and it will be a TV series.

I'm not saying it will be good, but I don't quite get your comment.

He's of course talking about the original medium; comic books. And he is correct. Not everything translate well to other medium. But hopefully it will be good and last for a few seasons.

I enjoyed every bit of the 3 seasons of the original series with Lynda Carter. Now if this incarnation will work... only time will tell. But I hope it does. I always liked the character.

Thanks for the explanation.  Since this thread was about the reboot of the TV series, I didn't even think about the comic books.

I doubt this will last more than 2 seasons. There is no way to translate wonder women to TV or Film without her seeming totally unbelievable. The 21st century audience don't buy into campiness. The trend these days is about gritty realism with strong philosophical emotional undertones.

Another point as well is i don't waste my time with American TV much. Cause they have the problem of not knowing when to end something. So you watch 2 or 3 good seasons and are hooked. But end up having to stomach another 5 seasons of the same stuff so think that there's still some hope.

But no your ultimately left disappointed, as the formula becomes ever more crass, predictable and stale.

There are numerous shows that fit that description. Put emphasis on the word much. Meaning im not saying every show fits it.

Mostly i just watch films than TV. That's a personal preference though.

I don't like her pants. Other than that, she's okay with me. I just want her to be pantless.
