Note that all the examples involve each movie having its own side or disc. Also, it says to create a profile for each movie, not each disc. This is only possible if each movie has a unique disc id or EAN. |

Note that all the examples involve each movie having its own side or disc. Also, it says to create a profile for each movie, not each disc. This is only possible if each movie has a unique disc id or EAN. Not that I would care either way in this situation... but that does say Main example... not limiting it to those examples. There are too many sets out there (especially in the low budget horror releases) where there is actual movie boxsets that each disc has 4 movies... 2 on each side of the disc. And these do need to confirm to the boxset rules. So just saying because there is more then one feature per disc (side) is not enough reason alone. | | | | Pete |

Now, when these appear as bonuses, the rules clearly exclude them. But when the raison d'etre of the DVD release is as here the shorts themselves, I think they qualify in the boxset category as "films." | | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

| | Posted: | | | | The rules cannot possibly cover every instance. If they said "feature film", I'm sure new issues would arise, e.g. with sets of documentaries.
Best way to deal with the issue at hand IMHO (assuming it's a set containing several discs) is to create child profiles for each disc or disc side and use dividers to separate the individual shorts/cartoons.
I would treat this much the same way as say a collection of Chaplin or Laurel & Hardy shorts. | | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |
