| Posted: | | | | Never say never, but to be honest, a Palm version is not likely. It's possible someone will develop a plugin that works as a conduit between DVD Profiler and a Palm application. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | Trust me I am NOT a Palm fan but I am stuck for the next 2 years with it. All I need is is a simple list to carry with on Palm. Can't Wait to Try out on my Windows Mobile on my Axim. |

I am very reluctant to change to the buggy, crash prone, resource hog known as Windows Mobile. |

| Posted: | | | | Me too, and my Palm TX has a better screen then most of the Windows PDA (yeah, I know, there are VGA PDAs but most of the MS PDAs have 320x240 and I have 480 x 320 ) | | | Deutsches DVD Profiler Forum: www.dvdprofiler-forum.de |

| Posted: | | | | Ken,
I like to use my Palm. Luckily i'm not forced to use a windows mobile system for at least two years. I really would like to see the Palm version. I dont want a simple list, but a real Palm program. Thanks again for everything Ken. |

Ken, Can we take it from your post then that neither yourself nor Invelos are working on a Palm mobile version? If not, then that's a shame because you're missing out on a huge market. I have no desire to get rid of my Garmin IQue 3600. | | | Last edited: by bobsolo |

| Posted: | | | | On the old forums in the palm area a user posted a way to use Isolox to put your collection on your Palm. Not sure how to do that with the new online list page. Anyone remember this???

Bobb Funny you should mention that, it was me who posted the method. See below: Palm OS viewer: iSilo 5.01Windows OS Converter iSiloX 4.371) Download and install the viewer onto your palm 2) Download and install the converter onto your PC. This will also add the "iSiloX Clipper..." to your Internet Explorer "Tools" menu. 3) Goto www.invelos.com and view your collection online as you normally would. 4) Enter "http://www.invelos.com/onlinecollections/dvd/InBlue/List.aspx" into the address bar and hit enter. This will bring up only the list frame for your collection. You can't go directly to this page without bringing up your full collection first. EDIT: sometimes you don't get your collection with this method, instead just a page with 'all' 'owned' 'ordered' and 'wishlist' buttos. It it imperative that the entire collection is visible in IE (only the list frame, not the split frames) before running the clipper. Try "http://www.invelos.com/onlinecollections/dvd/InBlue/List.aspx?type=o" to force it to show "owned". You could also try right-clicking the list frame (left hand side) from you colleciton "home" and selecting properties. This should show you the URL of just the list frame and should be something like http://www.invelos.com/onlinecollections/dvd/InBlue/List.aspx. Just copy and paste the URL from the properties tab into the address bar. This is what you should see before clipping. large5) In the Internet Explorer Tools menu, select "iSiloX Clipper...". 6) First time around it will ask which user to use if you have multiple Palm user accounts setup, and what device to you have to tailor the settings. 7) Enter a title, I use "DVDCollectionList". 8) Ensure "Include Images" is selected if you want the images. 9) Set "Folllow links to a maximum depth of: " to 1. This will ensure that all you individual DVD page links are converter. 10) Click on Properties. 11) Click on the “Destination” tab. 12) The default destination is the internal memory of the user’s device selected in step 6. If you want to store the file on an external card, right-click your username, and select “External Memory card”. I have about 700 DVDs in my list and the file ends up being ~70MB so I store it on an external card. 13) Click on "Links" tab. 14) Double check "Maximum Link Depth" is set to 1, and uncheck "Follow off-site links". 15) Click OK. 16) Click Convert to start converting. Mine takes about a minutes. When done it will have created a file that will be uploaded to your Palm next time you sync. Once synced you can access the file using iSilo on you Palm. You will see the DVD collection list exactly as it appeared on the list frame only webpage. Clicking on a title will bring up the individual DVD's page, with all the same details as on the website, including the front and back images. You will also be able to view your owned, ordered, wishlist. You can search the list specific words. large large large | | | Last edited: by bobsolo |

| Posted: | | | | That was the original solution. However I cannot get this to work with the new collection page under the new invelos.com listing page.
Am I missing something? Has anyone tried this under the new page of listings?

Bobb I just updated the instructions. Needed to change the websites to invelos.com. Other than that I just checked and it still works. Make sure you access your collection through the site first, then paste the list frame address into the address bar. Once you have the list frame up, you can run the clipper. | | | Last edited: by bobsolo |

| Posted: | | | | Not sure why, but every time I change the URL to the correct page and use the isolox tool. My I.E. gives me an error and shuts down. I've tried this four times and get the error and shutdown every time. I even reinstalled isolox.

| Posted: | | | | All this is very well and good, however I would still like a Palm version of DVDProfiler Mobile. I downloaded and paid for the current version before I realised it did not work with Palm |

| Posted: | | | | This is not working under IE 7, and as that was forced on us by MS .... I guess there needs to be changes made to the page to get this working. |

Bobb This might explain it Quoting: iSilo web site Quote: Internet Explorer 5.0 or later required for iSiloX Clipper for Internet Explorer. However, please note that iSiloX Clipper does not currently work with Internal Explorer 7. We will just have to wait for an update. |
