| Posted: | | | | For box sets where some discs have region encoding and some don't, should the region coding be listed for the core set? Obviously the child profiles would have the region (or lack thereof) for the disc they're on but I'm wondering about the set. |

My very own, private opinion: with the exception of bonus discs. Way back this queation came up about a specific scenario where the movies in a set all had at least R1 & R2 and a bonus disc with only R1. I'd hated the idea to skip such a set because it seems only to be R1 when it is just the bonus disc that would pose a problem. | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

| Posted: | | | | Sounds good. That's what I ended up going with, allowing for child profiles to take care of the region free info. BTW the set is 17 Horror Classics by Echo Bridge. Despite all their releases being bare bones, Echo Bridge does find ways to make box sets more interesting sometimes from a cataloguing perspective. |
