Quote: Year of the Gun (1991) as Carlo Scandiuzzi ADR Voices invalid For the record: whether that's an invalid credit is very much up for debate. They're certainly being contributed and accepted into the database on a regular basis. It is located just below the CAST, in the ADR Voices section. I wrote "invalid", because in many posts, ADR Voices have not been accepted... As for me, I would accept it. Tell me, how should I consider it... Valid or Invalid? | | | "Two days ago, I saw a vehicle that would haul that tanker. You want to get out of here? ...You talk to me." | | | Last edited: by Mad Rockatansky |

My opinion on this never changed: what I want most of all, is to be consistent. So if we're including the same group of people when they're labelled "Additional Voices" or "Voice Cast", then I'll track them if they're called "ADR Cast" or "ADR Voices" as well. Either they're all out, or they're all in, but I'll treat the exact same people providing the exact same job exactly the same way. So if you ask me, I would consider this a valid credit. Personally, these credits are more interesting to me than local dubbing voices - something Ken did actually publicly sign off on as being valid entries. And if we can track those, then it seems ridiculous to not include these voice actors, too. The bottom line is that once you've seen a dozen "ADR Cast" groups, of which the word "Cast" makes it pretty hard to claim that they aren't part of the cast, it becomes a lot harder to ignore roughly the same group of people in a different film when they're under an "ADR Voices" header. They're the same people, providing the same job. I refuse to include "ADR Cast" and then leave out "ADR Voices" - either we track both, or neither. So I choose to track both, but others will most certainly disagree. And as so often, Invelos refuses to make a decision... |

And that's why I'll include it as a valid credit. | | | "Two days ago, I saw a vehicle that would haul that tanker. You want to get out of here? ...You talk to me." |

No! ... and this is not topic for a common name thread! Currently we do track voice only apearances and I can follow the logic, that ADR can not be seperated from voice acting as well as voice over performances. So, as already stated by T!M above, these credits are listed and accepted right now, and therefore they are valid. | | | Complete list of Common Names • A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1) |
