| Posted: | | | | Ok, I've had a look around 3.0, well, a quick look around. I notice the data has been seperated from the program. One step forward I guess.
Now, with 2.4 and 2.5, I've been using a USB key to keep both my Work and Home PCs in synch, which meant simply using a synchronization software, SyncBack in my case, to copy only the changed files over to the USB key, and then from the USB key to the PC that needed updating.
Now, what I'd like to know is two-fold.
Can I still use a similar approach? Creating a profiles for the My Doc/DVD Profiler folder, and another for the Prog Files\DVD Profiler folder and synch those?
Or, can I rely on the online update to carry over all, or most, of the data and just worry about moving over the images?
-------------------
On a side note, I don't use use the My Documents folder at all on both PCs, I have all my data on a separate hard drive. Is it possible to move the location of the data folders? |

The only caveat is that the uninstall will not delete databases stored outside the My Documents\DVD Profiler directory. All else should work fine. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

Now why would I want to do that?? | | | Last edited: by RossRoy |
