| Posted: | | | | I submitted a contribution Rawhead Rex 738329-217198. The overview changed somehow between the last contribution and the one I submitted 17 Oct. I made no changes to the overview is there a glitch in the system. |

| Posted: | | | | Not necessarily. There are some Invelos autofilters in place and I have seen this before. In Overviews this seems related to formatting. | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

I don't really think it's a case of formatting here. OldMan56 means this current pending contribution of theirs: They state in their contribution notes that "Overview has changed, did not do the update." but I can't see how that could possibly just appear without being submitted as new data in a contribution. It was a pre-release entry submitted and approved in August. I was the only previous contributor and certainly didn't add those additions in the Overview before. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | Ah, I see. Not formatting, indeed. In any case: listings of special features have no business in an Overview and a contribution containing them should be declined. If this somehow mysteriously appears in any contribution of yours, it would be best not to tick the box in front of "Overview" in your contribution screen, i.e. not to submit the Overview change as part of your contribution. Otherwise you risk getting your contribution declined for no other reason than the mysterious Overview changes. |

| Posted: | | | | If it does get declined, just untick Overview and re-submit. I like your cover images... | | | Time is the fire in which we burn. (Soran) |

| Posted: | | | | Doesn't this fall under the overview rules:
Never include the following items in overviews: ... Extra features

| Posted: | | | | I never got the update, it never showed up as an update to my Rawhead Rex profile, it just disappeared from All Pending Updates. So what happened to it? | | | Time is the fire in which we burn. (Soran) |

| Posted: | | | | Nevermind. It must've been a delayed update or something, I just got it. Weird thing is, I've been checking for updates, even after it disappeared from Pending Updates, and nothing. I have it now. Maybe I can help out a little with some further updates. | | | Time is the fire in which we burn. (Soran) |

I really don't recall seeing the update on the last database refresh either. I sometimes get multiple "ghost updates" a day after, so it's probably just delayed like you said and will show up on the next round. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | Another bit of oddness: I'd been keeping an eye on the new update which would've added the disc info, cast & crew, etc. Checked the Pending Updates and discovered it was no longer there, so I brought up DVD Profiler, checked for updates, found the Rawhead Rex update, but there was nothing I didn't already have. No cast/crew, no disc info, nothing I didn't already have. I tried downloading the update anyway, but my cast/crew and disc info is still devoid of any information. I tried refreshing the profile from the Online menu option, but nothing showed up.
I wonder what happened to the rest of the update? | | | Time is the fire in which we burn. (Soran) |

I wonder what happened to the rest of the update? Silly question, but I have to ask... Have you tried again? Because when an update is approved, it will get removed from the pending updates section, but it won't download into your system until after it's released at around 10pm (ish - I find it varies between about 10-10:30 my time which is MST). Even if you try and refresh the profile, until it's released, it won't do anything in your local. And I noticed you posted your reply here that I quoted after the submission would've been approved, but before it would've been released. Like I said, silly question, but I have to ask because literally I'm downloading updates into my system right now and it's there: Running Time Features Audio Overview Cast Crew Disc Info Subtitles All showing and downloading just fine | | | The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play. |

| Posted: | | | | Well, I learned something new today: That when an update disappears from Pending Updates, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's available for DVD Profiler profile updates. I checked again this morning, and the full update was there, which begs the question: What was that, that I downloaded last night? | | | Time is the fire in which we burn. (Soran) |
