| Posted: | | | | 'The Avengers' (ep. 'Death a La Carte'): Henry Soskin
'Man in a Suitcase' (ep. 'Which Way Did He Go, McGill?'): Henry Soskin
'Hadleigh: The Complete Second Series' (writer credit): Henry Lincoln
I noticed that you have both 'The Avengers: Season 1' and 'The Avengers: Season 3' in your list, but only one of his episodes has survived. The other episode he appears in is lost, and therefore is not available on DVD. So he has only one 'The Avengers' credit in the database, in the third season, and his credit there is for Henry Soskin. | | | Last edited: by T!M |

| Posted: | | | | My understanding is that he wrote as Henry Lincoln and acted as Henry Soskin.
Shouldn't his writing credits be separate from his acting credits? |

| Posted: | | | | At the moment his name appears to be Henry Soskin, even though he never wrote under that name. I realise his acting credits should all therefore be credited to Henry Soskin, but surely not his writing credits? (Although I concede that Soskin was his real name, and the pedant in me would want him credited as such.) | | | Last edited: by AlunH |

| Posted: | | | | As of now Henry Soskin, his acting name, is the common name. So all writing credits would get Henry Soskin as common name and Henry Lincoln would be entered into the credited as field. To answer AiAustria's question: There are a few cases where I'm not entirely sure how to count titles in common name threads. The early Doctor Who seasons are such a case. I've never watched them, so all my info about those episodes is from wikipedia but, in my understanding, the individual seasons are subdivided into individual serials each containing 4-6 episodes. Each serial tells it's own consistent and independent story. Most DVD releases contain a serial and not a complete season. So I'm not sure whether to count those seasons as seasons or count the individual serials. Luckily, in this case, it seems like either way wouldn't change the common name. | | | Think different

You are correct each story was a serial of 4 to 6 episodes on average, although it could be as many as 14. 14 was Trial of a Timelord & was effectively one season, but was broken up into 4 stories! So in my view in 2 entries. Regards Kelvin Fervent classic series maniac. |
