| Posted: | | | | Yesterday I added "Ringers - Lord of the Fans" (0-43396-12202-4) to my home copy of DVD Profiler. The DVD added properly and the image downloaded properly. I then updated my collection to my online collection (http://www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/trafman).
When I got to work the next day I download my collection from the online profile to my local copy of DVD profiler at work. The DVD is now added to my collection but the image refuses to download. I have tried to go online and redownload the profile and/or the image. The only lock on the DVD is SRP. When I try to get try the download I get "Unable to download file. Continue anyways?" Since I am writing this at the same time I get the message I know I am connected to the internet. I can also attempt to add a new DVD and "Refresh Online List" without receiving a connection error. |

He said that he added the title to his collection at home and the profile/images downloaded correctly. It was when he uploaded to his online collection that the problem occurred. The profile is there but no images. So, when he downloaded his collection from online to his work station, no images were downloaded. What I don't understand is why the profile was uploaded but not the images. Unless the images do not exist in the Invelos database? But then how could he have downloaded them at home? | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

The images do not upload to the online collection. They never have sine the online storage required so that everyone could have their own set of images would be enormous. For this reason the online collection always shows the images which have been accepted within the main database. | | | Paul |

What I don't understand is why the profile was uploaded but not the images. If you try to enter the UPC in either version 2.4 or 3 it comes up as unknown. It seems the UPC has been altered from the one in the database that ends 121997. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | I just did an add by title and previewed this title. The image is present in the online database but is verry slow to download. I was under the impression profile was uploaded, but instead it was to my profiler a collection upload. So the download to his home computer did complete but not at his work computer? Internet filtering software? | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Internet filtering software? Possible but unlikely since I just picked Flyboys (027616-062185) at random and was able to preview the image. I am assuming that DVD Profiler is storing a copy of images on their servers and not using a mess of public image hosting sites. If they are then they need to set up a proxy server that DVD profiler runs through or I will not be the only on with this experience. To make even more fun, I went to preview Ringers in the add DVD window and the image shows up. I now am officially confused. |
