| Posted: | | | | The Golden Globes last night has 2015 The Martian with Matt Damon listed and categorized as A Comedy!? ( and it won that category too..) The only comedy I can figure out is: 1. They Left Matt Damon behind while the others went home laughing ... ( not! ) 2. The had to go and find Matt Damon like they have in a lot of others movies .... (maybe) So question begs How to mark this in my genres..? It's listed currently as Sci Fi / Drama / Adventure | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

Keep current genres. | | | 99.9% of all cat plans consist only of "Step 1." | | | Last edited: by Grendell |

| Posted: | | | | While there certainly are comedic moments in the film (and the book, for that matter), it is really not a comedy. The only reason I can think why it got nominated (and won) as a comedy is that someone wanted it to win really badly and they knew it wouldn't stand a chance in the drama category. It really had no business there.
Like Grendell said, I'd keep the current genres the way the are. | | | My phpDVDprofiler collection |

There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar |
