Hi folks,

Just new to DVD Profiler and was wondering if there was an easy way match an unknown EAN with an online service like Amazon. I have bought loads of discs and while scanning in the barcodes many are coming up as unknown. I am unable to find an option to grab online data from Amazon. If I click the Amazon icon it goes to the right product so it knows the EAN is right but I cant find how to update my record with the online info.

Do I have to manually update.

Check out the downloads section for plugins.

The one called ASIN to EAN/UPC Converter might be what you're looking for.

That is because DVD Profiler is not a data scraper but has a user-built data-base.

If a profile for a certain EAN is not in the database yet it is up to the users to provide the data.
But please be absolutely sure to follow the Contribution Rules when you decide to do so.

For a quick start you can clone already existing profiles.
