I started to add images for cast and crew and got a error message that DVD profiler must shut down. I restarted Profiler  and did a complete data base repair. Watching the repair and it removed all cast and crew. My backup won't or online collection won't bring them back. I can refresh each profile one by one and restore them, but with over 3000 profiles its out of the question.

Any Ideas??

Exactly the same thing happened to my db. Did you download your online collect into the new db? Just trying to work out you recovered your profiles. This new version is flakey!

Yes, I deleted my current data base and then downloaded my online, seemed to do the trick.

Good Luck

I'm confused. If you delete your local database and download from online, don't you lose the personalization data?

I thought all the personal / local data was only saved when you did a local backup ...

What you lose is your own personal cover scans, nothing more.

dee1959jay:

So when I "synchronize my collection", it's also sending my "notes" data, as well as sort title, purchase date and place, count as, tags, exclusion and hide settings, etc.

I thought it would take a long time to upload / download all that info, vs just the UPC code of what's in your collection.

Not sure about notes, tags, exclusions and hide settings, since I don't use these, but your personalized data (purchase etc.) are there.

Why don't you try and create a new database into which you download your online collection first? Then you can see for yourself what's there and what isn't.
