| | Posted: | | | | Media companies seem to be my shakiest field, brain doesn't always grasp what should or shouldn't be listed.
In Canada, Entertainment One distributes a lot of blu-rays these days.
The back cover usually has this:
"Artwork & Supplementary Materials © 2014 (Insert Studio like Summit Entertainment here). All Rights Reserved. © 2014 Entertainment One Films Canada Inc. All Rights Reserved. Distributed exclusively in Canada by Entertainment One."
What belongs in the media company fields?
Summit Entertainment (as an example)
Entertainment One Films Canada
Entertainment One
or
Summit Entertainment (as an example)
Entertainment One
or
Entertainment One
or a different combo?
Right now I have about 25% in my collection with Entertainment One Films Canada listed, and the other 75% with it omitted. Would just like to make them all match up to what's supposed to be entered.

Sure, but there are different divisions: eOne Films, eOne Television, eOne Music.......
Just like Warner Bros.......Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Records, Warner Home Video, Warner Books.....

Summit Entertainment was/is a film production company/film distributor, not an ``artwork`studio`` .
In Invelosworld.... (for a Entertainment One Canadian DVD of a US Summit Entertainment production/release) Summit Entertainment gets entered into the studio field, Entertainment One into the media company field. |

" So Summit was used - by him, not by me - as an example of an art studio. And that's the question I replied to. Moreover, I never mentioned Summit in any of my previous posts.
