When trying add movies "by Title"  (adding by UPC seems to work fine) I immediately get an error stating "invalid floating point error" and it will not let me proceed and I have to exit the program using Windows Task Master"  then when restarting profiler, the program states there is an eror and recommends running The Repair Utility.  So I do that and it does not fix the adding by title problem.  ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS?  thanks

Floating point errors usually indicate that one of your system fonts has gone amiss.

Please reinstall "Tahoma.ttf" and the problem should be fixed.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Lewis_Prothero - thanks for your reply.  Not sure how to reinstall tahoma.ttf    Would reinstalling the whole program over the top of the existing one work just as well?  thanks

No. Please understand that this is a Windows problem, so reinstalling DVDP won't do you any good.
You can get the Tahoma font here.

This happened to me strangely after installing the Japanese fonts. I've re-installed the Tahoma TTF fonts again but I still get this error when trying to add a movie.

If I'm quick enough I can add one movie at a time which is fine if I happen to only have to add one or two titles. But when I get a haul and need to add multiple ones it's a problem.

Currently running Windows 7 if that makes any difference.

If it occurs only when adding an entry, the problem may be a corrupted profile list.  Select Online->Refresh Online Profile list while holding CTRL.
