My collection list accidentally got removed.  When I reopened the DVD Profiler it asked to restore it and I did.  The collection list is back, but it will not stay in the area where it originally was.  Every time I open DVD Profiler it is in the upper left hand corner and I have to move it.  How do I fix it back to the way it used to be?  Can I re-pin it to the location it originally was in?

Please help on this matter.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

First of all: welcome to the Asylum, Chris!

You might try saving the changes you made to the program layout you're using (View / Save Layout), giving the modified version a different name if that's what you prefer.

Yes, you can pin or "dock" the window wherever you want. It takes a bit of patience. Use the mouse to slowly move the window around until you see an area get shaded. This is a preview of where the window will be locked in. After a bit of practice, you should get the hang of it.

As previously suggested, save your layout beforehand.

I appreciate your help, but I still can't seem to get the collection to "dock".  I tried saving the layout as suggested, but it didn't work.  As for moving it around when I do the outline of the collection list turns grey, but it doesn't lock into the location.  Any other suggestions?

When it turns grey, lift the mouse button. It should then lock. If you want it to be a tab in the pane, slide the mouse button over the tab labels. When a label becomes shaded, then let go. Think of it as drag and drop.

If that doesn't work, let us know. I'll shut up and let somebody else try with different words.
