| Posted: March 21, 2007 5:52 AM | | | | So, I reveived Chronos today from Netflix. Like mentioned in the subject its the HDDVD Version and I wanted to play it on the add on HD drive for the 360. A friend of mine told me that its absolutely beautiful (watched it on a stand alone HD player) We are getting all ready, dim the lights... drinks, check! Popcorn, check! Put the movie in, the Anti Piracy Warning comes up, the screen goes blank... nothing for about 2 minutes. Restart the drive, and it plays all the way to the Main Menu, the sound is skipping and as I press Play, it gets stuck once again. Restart the whole system, check the disc, which has very minor scratches towards the outside of the disc. Third try. Goes blank again right after the Anti Piracy thing. I am wondering if this particular disc is not compatible with the drive or the software used? Does anyone have experience with other movies not playing? The only HDDVD movie I own is King Kong, which came with the drive. Hmph! | | | - Life is just a form of animated death. |

| Posted: March 21, 2007 8:19 PM | | | | I just checked and there are no further updates available than the ones I installed about 2 months ago when I first plugged it in. Tried it again and this time the Menu showed right away, but after pressing Play nothing happens after about 10 minutes. I'll send it back today with a note on there. Wasnt there supposed to be a Blu-Ray version of this? | | | - Life is just a form of animated death. |

| Posted: March 27, 2007 11:50 PM | | | | Got the new copy in the mail today and it still does the same thing. My friend told me as well that it takes a while to load in his stand alone HD player... I seriously hope there is nothing wrong with the add on player for the 360 as the usual 3 months are over and I didnt purchase additional warranty or replacement plan thing... I should be getting V for Vendetta in the mail today or tomorrow and will try that one then. | | | - Life is just a form of animated death. |
