| Posted: | | | | I just started watching Season 2 of Game of Thrones and I noticed this per the episode credits:
Dragon Unit Ronan Hill - Production Sound Mixer
Wolf Unit Mervyn Moore - Production Sound Mixer
My question is should group dividers be used too separate them? |

| Posted: | | | | I included both in my re-audits but didn't bother with the group dividers. The production of Game of Thrones is so big that it's split into two principal units - Dragon Unit and Wolf Unit. For this reason I felt it was correct to include both production sound mixers. There is no other production sound mixer credited. | | | My DVD/Blu-ray Collection My Letterboxd Page |

| Posted: | | | | If there is no Production Sound Mixer (as Rizor states) other than these two, then we should definitely include them. |

| Posted: | | | | There is no other PSM's that I can find, but that is not what I am suggesting. I am suggesting that the group dividers be included |

Quoting the contribution rules: Quote: Do not enter unit crew ... It is irrelevant if there is a principal PSM listed or not. If the only PSM to be found is/are listed as member of a unit we do not trace them (at least if we are applying the rules). All other is personal preference and has to be kept local. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Exactly. I'd prefer to enter them too, but the rules don't allow this for the online-db. Maybe the rule should be changed to: "Do not enter 2nd unit crews". |

Also Splinter, Aerial or Marine unit/crew. I've seen a couple of film credits that have Main Unit or 1st Unit credits. By the rules no crew should have been credited for these except the opening credits list of principal Crew. | | | Last edited: by ateo357 |

| Posted: | | | | Or possibly just leave it as it is ... It is one of the few rules that doesn't leave room for interpretation. Changing it to "Do not enter 2nd, splinter, aerial, marine, ... crew" will create a monster of text and sooner or later someone will come up with the dreaded "Is 10th Unit allowed?"-question. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! | Posted: | | | | Per the rules then these unit PSM's should be removed, and the Sound Supervisor be used. |
