Last night I added an entry to the WISH list, along with many others (about 30) at the same time.  Later on I discovered that one of the entries does not show up in the list (ALL or WISH).

So, I went to add the entry again, only to discover that it is marked with the WISH heart as already being in the database.

OK, so I backed up the database and then did a repair. Well, that didn't fix it.

So, how do I make the invisible entry visible?

Do you know the UPC?  Select your ALL collection and use the Alt+F10 key combination to bring up the Select by UPC dialog box.  Type in the UPC and see what (if anything) is highlighted.

Possibly the title is hidden because of the Parental Control settings.
Try Tools->Disable Parental Controls for Session...
If that makes the title visible you need to check Tools->Options->Parental Control

I had to do some filter searching to find the title, as I forgot which one it was that was giving me trouble.  It was a release that had both DVD and Blu-ray.  By sorting by release date, I found the one that only had the Blu-ray listed.

I then got the UPC and did your trick.  It did not find it.  But, what was interesting I was now able to add the item using the UPC, when before it complained that the item was already in the database.

It seems that searching for the UPC forced the database to clean itself up.

I'll have to remember this trick.
