Access violation at address FF8046A ??

What can I do about this message I get every time I start Profiler up? My computer runs Windows Vista and is up to date in all updates.

When I press "OK" immediately, there are coming a small window, if I use it, the program freezes but do I press "OK" immediately Profiler starts normally?? Why and what can I do to avoid this?

Try a database repair (Windows "Start" -> All Programs -> DVDProfiler -> Database Repair Utility).
Before starting the repair close the DVDProfiler main-program.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
