The system crashed shortly after I added a bunch of entries.

The database ended up with three entries that have a title, but it refused to bring up info for that release, instead it showed info for whatever title I looked at last.  If I tried to delete the screwed up entry, it removed the entry it was displaying.

I had to re-enter the incorrectly deleted title.

So, I tried re-entering the data for the three bad entries and ended up with each title having two entries, each one displaying the title's info.  All six entries have separate collection numbers.  DVDP did not think the entries existed, so I was able to do the re-entry, even though the title for each of them is still in the list, with a collection number.

When I try and delete one of the duplicate entries. the remaining entry will no longer display data.

Repairing will not remove the duplicate titles.

How the hell does one get rid of an entry that does not display correctly?

Before anyone suggests restoring to a previously saved database, forget it.  You are welcome to come to my house and re-enter the 27 titles that I've added since that save (all done in a single update).

Or, just do a partial backup of the 27 good titles you entered and then restore them into the good backed up database.

BTW were you offering to have a DVDP house party?

Thanks.  After digging around to find a way to flag all of the entries, I did a backup and then a restore.

Though I did have to quit an restart DVDP before the restore would work.  A restore after the backup failed with an error.
