Don't know if this is a known bug, but the prerelease counter from the Android App counts always one day lesser then the Windows Profiler counter.

e.g.: Game of Thrones (5-051890-226013). Release Date: 31.3.2014.
The Windows version shows (today) 7 days remaining, the Android version shows 6 days remaining.

Seems to be a problem on your end.

All OK here.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

hm, strange.
The release date on both machines are the same. The actual machine date and time are the same too. Even the time zones are the same. So i don't see how i should possibly fix this issue?!?

OK. I've attached a picture on the counter differences. On the left side the PC version and on the right the tablet.
It's recognizable (i think) that all counter values on the left side are one day higher then on matching profiles on the right side.

The database was synchronized 3 hours ago.
Both Computer getting its date from NTP time servers (as usual).
So why the differences?

<edit>
A database repair is already done also.

Probably DVDProfiler is colliding with one of your other apps?

Which Android version are you using? (Just want to check if this may be caused by another version)
Mine is 4.1.2

It makes no difference is there any other app running or not.
I use a Samsung Galaxy Note tablet with Android 4.4.2 which is the latest version i think.

First of all, which value is the right one? Maybe it's a Windows problem.
The before mentioned "Game of Thrones (5-051890-226013)" shows today (25.3.2014) 6 days left on Windows and 5 days left on Android.
Just to delimit this issue. Can you please confirm one of these values?

Just noticed something really strange.

If the release is more than 200 days in the future the dates are OK
Below 200 I can confirm the behaviour.

Compare:
EAN 5050582965773 (August: Osage County) Release Date 30.12.2014
Both DVDProfiler and App show 280 days.

to

EAN 4010232062840 (Grand Budapest Hotel) Release Date 05.09.2014
DVDProfiler shows 164 while the app shows 163 days

Strange glitch that is ...

EDIT: App-Database got synched by WiFi from PC-database.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Confirmed!
"Osage Country" is in sync, "Grand Budapest Hotel" is not.

So all my awaited DVDs have a release date lower than 200 days at the future, all (my) counter are out of sync.

It's a bug then.

I only have a few pre-release titles in my collection right now, but I do not see a difference between the app and the desktop program (at least here in my office, I haven't checked my primary laptop at home yet). Both are showing the same number of days until release, ie 7 days until Psych Season 8 (UPC 025192213427)

I'm running the beta app (v1.1.0 build 35) on a Galaxy S3 (running Android 4.3).

This strange behavior seem a bit unstable now.

hmm, I'm using 1.0.3 Build 31. Is there a way to get this beta version?

Ken currently isn't seeking any more beta testers for the current version, but he mentioned in a few posts down from this one back on March 6 that an open beta would be available soon. Although, "soon" could mean anything around here.
