Hi,

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but I can't find a solution.

I'm running DVD Profiler on my Windows (Vista Home Basic Edition) laptop, and there are certain titles appearing in my collection, that have been deleted, and other titles that are appearing, that I can't click on them, or if I can, the database shows the previous title or the next one.

An example:  Lisa And The Devil - Little Shop Of Horrors: Director's Cut - Live And Let Die

I can click on Lisa And The Devil or Live And Let Die, and they all appear fine and correct, and I can edit or personalize them accordingly. If I try clicking on Little Shop Of Horrors: Director's Cut, either I can't click on it at all, and the database selects Lisa And The Devil or Live And Let Die, or if I can click on it, it shows the entry for Lisa And The Devil, or Live And Let Die.

Second Example: Daria - The Dark Knight Rises - Das Boot.

The Dark Knight Rises is listed in my collection, but has been deleted ages ago, and thus should not be showing-up at all. I've tried saving and/or re-loading the database, but to no avail. Ditto, deleting the entry previous and after it (in my case Daria, or Das Boot), and still it shows up.

When I sync my database with my iPhone 4s (running iOS 6.1.3 - 10B329), The Dark Knight Rises doesn't show up at all (which it shouldn't, as it is a deleted title) and in the first example, Little Shop Of Horrors: Director's Cut does show up correctly, and can be viewed in full, without any problems.

I'm also encountering really odd problems, where the DVD Profiler software won't let me edit or personalize entries, and will start throwing a hissy-fit, and being very uncooperative. If I try and save the database, it won't let me rename it. It won't let me save over the current database name/file, and all I can do is shutdown the programme back to the Windows desktop. This happens irrespective of how long I've been using the programme, and irrespective of any other software running alongside it, e.g. AVG Anti-Virus, Mozilla Firefox, etc, etc.

If anyone can explain to me what's going on here, and/or why this is happening, and how to fix it, I'd be very grateful, as it's most annoying. Thanks!

I'd start by running a database repair. Definitely sounds like something is wrong there..

Hi Steve,

Will do. I'll see what happens and report back.

ADDENDUM: Repair seems to have fixed the problems! Thanks for your help. Will remember that advice, for next time. Cheers Steve!
