I just ordered Fred Vogel's AUGUST UNDERGROUND. Amazon lists the UPC as 057800-110453 which is not in the data base I submitted that UPC.
The cover I submitted from Amazon shows the UPC is 337101-082839 I tried to load this UPC but got this error saying Invalid UPC:. I understand why it was declined but how can this be corrected.

Use the front cover as the rear as well, it can be replaced with a valid scan as soon as someone contributes it.

And I thought Amazon lists the ASIN. How about submitting the number under the barcode on your DVD’s case?

ASIN's and UPC's are different.  DVD Profiler uses UPC numbers, not ASIN's.  Check out this link:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/seller/asin-upc-isbn-info.html

DVD Empire lists actual UPC numbers, Amazon does not.

Karsten has a wonderful tool that converts amazons ASINs to UPCs or EANs. You can find it in his DVD Profiler Tools:

Thanks for the info. That is how I got the UPC# 057800-110453  from the ASIN. The UPC# from the Case is 337101-082839  and this one when loaded in DVD  Profiler comes back as an invalid UPC.

Could it be 837101-082839 instead of 337101-082839.

I think that's already in the DB.

It pretty much has to be 837101-082839, because the other one isn't valid according to the UPC Database. And the valid number even is in this database: clicketyclick

Good find Soulgazer.

Thanks! I think You both are right the cover is worn and it probably is an 8 instead of a 3.

When you calculate the checksum

8 37101-08283 9  is valid
if it started with a 0 the checksum would have to be a 3 so the upc would be 0 37101-08283 3
