I just added Kick-Ass 2 to my DVD collection. When I clicked on the photo of the actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson to see his other movies that I owned, only Kick-Ass 2 displayed. I know that I have several of his other films in my database and couldn't figure out why the others were not being displayed. Turns out that his name is listed as Aaron Johnson under all of his other movies. I did a search in Google and he is now known as Aaron Taylor-Johnson since his marriage to director and artist Sam Taylor-Wood. Is there a way to accommodate the two names so that when I click on either one of his names all of his movies will show up. I know I can just make his name the same in my collection but wasn't sure if there was another way to handle this.

Thanks.

Take a look at this recent thread created about his co-star. It answers your question.

Cast Entries...

It appears users never had any problems with cast linking until Kick Ass 2. Those who own that title must be off their game in contributing common names.

Thanks for the information. I am just going to change the actor names to match the ones that I already have in my database.

That's okay for your local database.

Just make sure that you do not accidentally contribute such data to the maindatabase.
Otherwise the usual suspects will have reason again to mourn that linking is beyond repair.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
