Hal Needham Dead: Director and Stuntman Dies at 82

Legendary stuntman, and later successful director of Smokey and the Bandit, The Cannonball Run, Hooper, RAD, etc...

...and RAD still needs an official DVD/Blu-ray release anywhere! Now it's just sad that we'll probably never have a Needham commentary or related features.

Sad news. Hooper and Stroker Ace also need a decent release. As far as I know, all existing releases are full frame.

You can read his book,  Stuntman!: My Car-Crashing, Plane-Jumping, Bone-Breaking, Death-Defying Hollywood Life. It's very good.
