After "Blue Belgium" a couple of years ago, I got the chance to do the artwork for another movie of the same director, called "De Aardwolf". The movie will be out on November 7.

Furthermore, I decided to partner up with this distributor, and together we acquired the rights of a 70s cult movie. I created the artwork for this one as well. As soon as we have the finished product, I'll post the artwork here as well.

Cheers,
Chris

Chris,
I didn't know you design artwork for releases and such. I can't read it (being a dumb American ) but it looks good!

Thanks Pete. I tried to create one a couple of years ago, and it got accepted. Since then, I'm taking classes in graphic design, and started a one-man company. Together with a partner, who is in the movie business for quite some time now, I acquired the distribution rights for a late 70s horror film. I finished the artwork for this one as well. I hope to be able to announce the title end of November or beginning of December. I will never be my fulltime job, but I thought, why not try to make a side job of my hobby.

@Pete:
The title of the release Chris designed the artwork for translates into "Earth Wolf". More info here.

I didn't know it myself, but apparently Aardwolf is an English word, as I found in this wikipedia article. The animal has nothing to do with the movie however.

It's a story about a business manager taking assertivity training. The trainings are presented as being Nazi trainings. An organization organizing these types of trainings in the 80s filed a lawsuit and succeeded in banning the movie. As 30 years have passed, the ban is lifted, and the movie can finally be seen. There wasn't a whole lot of material to start from. We were only able to locate a VHS copy of the movie. We found an original poster, which I used for the front cover. On the back there were 3 photos which I could use for the back cover.
