Just ran into something strange:

My TV Stick plays & records some channels (not all) very choppy if DVDP is running but not minimized to the task bar. Audio is not affected, only the video of DVB-C streams.

Maybe this is more of a general overlay problem than an DVDP exclusive issue but on the other hand I haven't experienced this behaviour with any other software yet.

For example I can play DirectX games fine while the TV Stick records a DVB-C stream perfectly.

Not a big deal once I figured out what caused the problem. Just wanted to let others know who might have problems with their TV card and use DVDP.

Sounds more like a problem of your DVR (Digital Video Recording) software to me.

If running Win7 check if the error still occurs when recording from MediaCenter.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I'm ashamed to admit that my beloved computer is already more than five years old, I'm recording DVB-S2 with an internal PCI card and simultaneously with an DVB-S2 USB 2.0 device while DVD Profiler and other programs are running, so look elsewhere.

Hold up. I have 2 stream errors in my latest recording.
