When I start DVD Profiler to update my collection, I got a message it needed profile refresh. I let it run and noticed it was still running several minutes later. The progress bar had reached full, and Task manager had shown it was progressing at over 315,000% and still running 20 minutes later.

I can't do anything with the DVD Profiler unless I cancel it using Task Manager.  And I can't get it to finish the update at all.  For now I have to skip profile update.

I think something got corrupt somewhere but I don't know what to do.

version 3.8.2 build 1542, Windows 7 64 bits, laptop with Intel i5 CPU, AMD video, 8GB RAM, 500GB HD (about 300 free)

Did you try a database repair yet?

Whenever someone has a problem, the first thing I recommend is a database repair:

On the top of Profiler > Tools > Options > Utilities > Repair Profile Database > Yes > Full Repair.

This will take some time, depending on how large your collection is, but it will reopen your database once it is complete.

that seemed to work. After the repair I was able to start the update manually and it completed without any further problem.

I'm glad it worked.
