I've noticed that the blu-ray cover scans all have the nice blu-ray logo above the scan. Does the invelos DB add that automatically when it see's the disc type? Or do we have to get that from another source if we add our own images?
If we aren't supposed to eat animals, why are they made out of meat?

It adds it automatically unless the slip cover box is ticked for the profile, so long as the case type is set to HD keep case.

You can turn off the banners if you don't want them display.  Going off memory you can turn them off under Tools -> Options on the Menu bar.

EDIT:  My memory wasn't so good.  From the menu bar, select Tools -> Edit Media Types.  For each media type listed in the left window, uncheck Use Default Banners and set the Front and Back banners to None.

You may also want to get rid of the banner that is on the cover itself.
Personnaly, I prefer a standard view for all of my BR.
Found a rellay simple way to do it :
- right click scanned  image
- edit cover images
- select the part of the image I want to keep (without the default banner) => Ctrl-C
- Paste => Ctrl-V
