I'm using a Metrologic scanner to enter barcodes for new DVDs and selecting existing DVDs. Using notepad, the scanner reads the barcode for Quantum of Solace according to sceen grab 1 (using screen grabs to show all the characters output).



So far so good. When I use the scanner to add the disc to DVDProfiler, I get the following:



Again, as expected.

However, when I use the scanner to try to select the film from the collection on the main screen I get the following:



Note the "2" added to the end of the string.

Resetting the scanner and turning off the CR and LF has no effect. The problem persists.

Any ideas?

Edit: Just to be clear, this happens every time, with every disk.
