Some cover images are missing after double-clicking on a cast member's photo

After double-clicking on a cast member's photo, I get the popup window displaying all of my movies that the cast member has starred in. However, some of the thumbnail cover images are shown in red with just the movie title, i.e. the cover image is missing. If I navigate to the actual movie profile the covers do exist. Is there a way to resolve this issue. Thanks.

Haven't seen that before....  but like with most issues the first thing I'd try is to do a database repair.

Thanks. I have already done a 'repair' and still have the problem.

Good idea, I'd check the covers folder and make sure that the thumbnails are there....  I don't have access to my PC at the moment, but it should be in a sub directory of whereever you have your database saved.

Does Profiler create thumbs for each profile?

Yes it does.

There is a separate "Thumbnail Repair" somewhere, but I'm getting old and don't remember where it was.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I think you have to open the profile or click on the image for them to be created.

Yes, there is a "Thumbnails" folder containing 2964 cover images and this matches the 2964 count of the regular-sized covers in the Images folder.

I've had this problem before, but a database repair has always solved it for me.  Admittedly, that was on my old computer and sometimes I had to run the repair a couple of times, but it always worked eventually.

Yes there is a separate thumbnail repair.... you have to change your list view to thumbnails to use it (if it isn't already) by clicking on the collection view button... then you can click on Rebuild Thumbnails in the same menu...
