I wonder why no feature length is shown.
This can be helpful in discerning cut releases from full length.
Or am I missing something?

Not sure i understand the question. There is of course a field to indicate the maximum length of the feature for each profile.

What is it you are trying to compare it to?
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

It's there, it's called 'runtime' if you do not use of another language template. It is one of the items in the 'general info' window. If that window isn't on your screen, you can make it visible via the menu View -> Windows -> General info.

There are actually rules on which time to put there: usually the longest version present on the disk.

IOW, yes, you're mssing something  .

Be aware that the NTSC runtime on DVD is the same as the BluRay time, assuming it is the same film version, but if your DVD is encoded in PAL (like in Europe) it is a few percent less due to the technical implementation of PAL. It doesn't mean the film is shortened contentwise.

If it is important, say it. Otherwise, let silence speak.
