Try this:

Make sure your USB flash drive is inserted first.

In Profiler near the top of the program, do this:

File -------> Restore Database -------> Browse -------> Open

Then choose the USB drive from the drop down menu choice, and open the .dpb backup file from it.

Should I buy a USB and try this for my problem? If so, what kind do I get? I needs to be able to handle around 20,000 DVDs.

One like these will suffice.

But I'm quite sure that it wouldn't help to solve your problem.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I caught a Western's MY Book 2T USB 3.0, deal of the day, $69.99.
Unfortunately my old PC doesn't have USB 3.0, but this works on all USBs, just slower.
Plenty of space. You can set it up to g backed up everything.
I also have 300g USB drive. I keep a current back up and a previous back up on both.
It's the last thing I do if I've changed anything, I while I watch the latest DVDs.
