I don't know why it shouldn't. I have added bullets and/or TM symbols - in my opinioin this adds value since it matches the cover.
The rules themselves use Bullets in listing the data that is allowed under Other Features: http://invelos.com/dvdpro/contributions/Rules.aspx?display=discextras. | | | Last edited: by Kathy |

The formatting of the Rules implies nothing about how any field should be filled out, they simply make the Rules more readable. Other Features exists to provide concise, and hopefully useful, information not otherwise covered by the Feature check boxes. If the formatting of the Features was at all important people would have been clamoring for years for a large text field with all the formatting features of the Overview field. | | | Bad movie? | Posted: | | | | This isn't a yes-or-no question. The names should be the same and trademark symbols can be part of the name, but bullets should be left out. Bullets are for organizing a vertical list with one point below the previous. This is not possible in the other features field. To reply to Kathy's point, the other feature's field is different than the overview, both in implementation and function. It doesn't allow bold, italics or carriage returns, so we can't copy formatting in most cases. Also, unlike the overview, it is not a transcription of some section of the package. It's a list of whatever didn't fit in the checkboxes. Take the following feature list, for example: Quote: • Interviews with cast and crew • Director's commentary • Deleted scenes • D-Box motion code • Production photo galley I don't see how it would make sense to enter "• D-Box motion code" instead of "D-Box motion code" in other features. The bullet isn't part of the name of a feature. It's part of the list format and we aren't doing an exact copy of the list to the features section. | | | Last edited: by Ace_of_Sevens |

| Posted: | | | | First of all, I'd like to say that Other Features data should match the actual disc contents rather than the cover. Next question is how to describe them, in view of the limited amount of space. I'd say: use the cover's description if there is sufficient room, use sensible abbreviations if there isn't. |

| Posted: | | | | The other features field is for entering leftovers that don't fit the other categories, nothing more. I don't see anything in the rules that says it should match the cover. The information doesn't even have to come from the cover, it can come from the disc itself. Indeed, that is preferable since covers don't always tell the truth. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

The rules themselves use Bullets in listing the data that is allowed under Other Features: http://invelos.com/dvdpro/contributions/Rules.aspx?display=discextras. if you want to see/display what the cover looks like - then look at the cover. In my opinion, this formatting adds zero value since what we want to be able to see is the TEXT. (I also find zero value in formatting the overview to match the cover which is already in the profile - but that's an argument I've given up on. As mentioned, a perfect representation of the cover - to see how it's formatted - is to view the cover.) | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | Since the new update I've not run into a lack of space for this data. But, based on this poll I have withdrawn those contributions and will keep Overview data updates locked and local only.
Thank you for the input everyone. |
