| Posted: | | | | This is a request to CoO contributors: When you add new CoOs please explain your reasinging.
Back in the days with one CoO it was often very obvious. "Armageddon is US, what else would it be?"
But now a film can be US, Germany, Italy and the contribution notes should tell the voters how the contributor came to that conclusion.
"added coo" is just not good enough anymore if I have to vote it
I've seen contributions that stated "added CoO Germany because prod.cmp XYZ is": that I can understand and vote upon. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Agree! Don't get me wrong... we are not looking for a novel here. But we need more then "Added CoO" and the like to work off of. This goes for most fields really. | | | Pete |

I tend to vote "No" if the contribution notes don't give the reason for the change. Default reasoning for this is: "Source? Please name Studio". | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Add Birth Years, add links to the BY thread message or at a bare minimum of list of what names you are changing.
Got a new disc ID please add it and the old one to your notes to help prevent ping-ponging of submissions. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | Completely agree. I came upon a few contribution with notes such as "CoO Added" or "Completed CoO". In my opinion it's way too brief. I voted no, but I was the only one Some voters added the sources in their Yes Votes, but that can't be seen in the actual postings. | | | Cor |

Charlie As Pete notes, there are users that believe pointing out the obvious...that they added a CoO...constitutes a full explanation. Oddly enough, as Corne points out, when those same users vote, they will include the true full explanation in their 'yes' votes. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
