| Posted: | | | | So this is interesting. I got a copy of "Margaret" Blu-ray/DVD combo and the Blu-ray only has the 150-minute theatrical version while the DVD only has the 186-minute extended cut. Has anyone come across this before? And how would it be profiled? Seems odd to put the 186-min cut info on the parent profile when it's not even available on the Blu-ray (but per rules, I guess it has to be?). | | | Last edited: by The Movieman |

| Posted: | | | | Assuming the primary profile represents the Blu-ray content i'd go with 150 and save the 186 for the optional child DVD profile.
How's the movie? I only heard of it this morning in an NPR blurb for an interview with the director on Fresh Air | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | tweeter is correct, in such a case we profile the version included on the BD in the parent profile. It's explicitly addressed in "Box Sets" section: Quote: Sets containing the same film on multiple media types (such as a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack) are to be entered as a normal profile for the main media type (Blu-ray in this example), with all included media types checked. A combo which includes HD media (HD-DVD, Blu-ray) as well as DVD should use the details from the HD media in the main profile. However, you may add an additional profile by Disc ID for the DVD content and add this profile to the Box Set contents for the Blu-ray profile. |

| Posted: | | | | I agree with tweeter as well, this is a clarification to the standard rules. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar |
