'Buying date' problems

When I write the date for when I bought the dvd, it swaps the day and month around, but only when it's a day from 1 to 12. Even if I use the calender to set the date it swaps it around.
Is this a problem you have seen before?

First, try Correct the displayed date-format, maybe it will do the trick.
